BIPRA collects information you provide directly (such as account registration details, payment information, and communications with us), information generated through your use of our services (transaction data, usage logs, device information), and information from third parties where applicable and lawful.
We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve our services; process transactions; send service communications; comply with legal obligations including POPIA, GDPR, SARB requirements, and SARS reporting; and detect and prevent fraud.
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Financial transaction records are retained for a minimum of 5 years in accordance with South African tax and financial regulations.
